Within this tropical sanctuary are the homes and breeding grounds for countless species of birds, fish, insects, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals. Some of these resident inhabitants include toucans and the last remaining wild flock of scarlet macaws.
In addition, sailfish, rays, morpho butterflies, hawk moths, harlequin beetles, glass and poison dart frogs, basilisk lizards, sea turtles, dolphins and whales, anteaters, tapirs, peccaries, ocelots, jaguarondis, pumas, and 3 types of new world monkeys still have there territory here. As we are only 3 km. from the National Park of Corcovado, the hotel is located within the biological corridor that surrounds one of the most renowned national parks of Costa Rica. Your chef will prepare everything you need, for whenever your pallet desires, in the heart of our private paradise. Locals here, have named the area in which we are located "Bijagua", after a flower related to the Heliconia. There is a small forest of these flowers surrounding the restaurant, creating a perfect lure for hummingbirds and butterflies to come up to the table, while you satiate your senses with a fine meal or refreshment.
