Cano island

12 nautical miles from the shores of drake Bay lies this Biological reserve. During the 45 min boat ride you have a chance to see turtles, dolphins, whales.
 The island offering you an embrace into the protected reef systems excellent for swimming and snorkeling. And above water a place to relax, play on the beach or hike to a lookout and discover the Archaeological remains.
Not exuberant with wildlife but has a fair share of birds and amphibians not forgetting an amazing water ecosystem 

Birdwatching

 We are located in birdwatchers paradise! The combination of a virgin forest with all it's species and stream/water birds make for an interesting combination and an excellent tour. Our experienced guides with specific knowledge of the area and it's species will take you early morning or late afternoon for the hike of lifetime. Exploring the bird world of which in Costa Rica consists of about 850 species. Depending on the season and a little luck you'll see several dozen species (thru water and jungle). Frequent sightings are tanagers, hummingbirds, toucans, mot mots, kingfishers, ibises, woodpeckers..........

See the world from a different angle so jump on! Our horsebackriding tour leads thru jungle trails crossing rivers with stunning views to a secret and private place where on foot you descent to a waterfall for a very refreshing dip in one of the swimming holes.
